How much will a plumber visit cost me?

What should I do while I wait for the plumber?

Is the fixed price really fixed?
It is. The number on the written quote is the number on the invoice, even if the job runs long or a fitting turns out to be buried somewhere awkward. If you ask for extra work while we are there, that gets quoted separately before a tool touches it.
